Every time I create a new collection I think it's my favorite, and this one is no different! "Butterflies & Blooms" will always hold a special place in my heart because of the inspiration behind it. In 2023 I was so fortunate to be a member of "Shine", a small mentorship group led by Mindy Young of Indy Bloom Design. Mindy is one of the most talented pattern designers out there and learning from her for an entire year was a dream come true!

In addition to all I learned about running a successful surface design business, I met my design besties for life! I can't say enough about this amazing group of women. They truly embody the spirit of community over competition. I am blessed beyond measure to have these ladies in my life.
After meeting on Zoom twice a month and talking via the app Telegram nearly every day, we were finally able to meet in person in September when Mindy hosted a design retreat for us in Park City, Utah. We had the most amazing time getting to know each other better while being immersed in the natural beauty of Utah as we painted, learned and laughed for 2 wonderful days.

While there, Mindy suggested we create a group collection that celebrates each of our unique talents and reflects our time together at the retreat. After a inspirational nature walk, we came up with a color palette and started sketching.
What started as one hero print to contribute to the group collection (the design in the bathroom wallpaper photo) turned into a whole collection full of florals, butterflies, and hearts. I'm so excited to finally share this special, new collection with you all!
